Why convert images to PDF?
PDFs are the universal document format. Converting images to PDF lets you:
- Combine multiple scans or photos into a single document to email or print
- Submit scanned forms as a single PDF to a portal
- Preserve photos in a print-ready layout
Supported image formats
- JPG / JPEG: Standard photos and scans
- PNG: Screenshots, diagrams, images with transparency
- WebP: Modern web images
- GIF: Supported (first frame used)
Step-by-step: images to PDF
- Open the Images to PDF tool.
- Drop your images (or click to browse). You can add multiple images at once.
- Drag image cards to set the page order.
- Choose a page size:
- Fit to image: Each page is exactly the size of its image (best for mixed sizes).
- A4: European standard. Images are centred with white margins.
- Letter: US standard. Images are centred with white margins.
- Click Create PDF and download.
Tips
- Mixed orientations: Use "Fit to image", each page adapts to portrait or landscape as needed.
- Scanned documents: Scan at 150–300 DPI, then convert. Note the PDF will contain the pictures only, not selectable text, so Extract Text will not find anything in it.
- Large number of images: The tool processes them sequentially. 50+ high-resolution photos may take 30–60 seconds.
Does this tool upload my images?
No. All processing happens in your browser tab using pdf-lib WebAssembly. Your images are never sent to any server.
